Greek ferry company ANEK Lines has released its seventh corporate magazine ANEKORAMA and offers its passengers an edition full of Greece, the Aegean and the Adriatic, along with a series of travel tips and suggestions.
Under a new logo, the issue of this year’s ANEKORAMA is dedicated to Crete and inspired by the region’s latest campaign.
The slogan “Crete: The Island Inside You” is imprinted on the magazine’s cover and artistically combined with the work of renowned Greek photographer Yiorgos Lizardou.
This issue includes a dedication entitled “Made in Crete” and highlights people and success stories – local producers, traditional workers, Cretan filmmaker Thodoris Papadoulakis, the Foundation for Research and Technology – and presents a Crete of creation and inspiration, of flavor and fragrance and of science and innovation.
The island’s local culinary scene is also focused on in the issue. ANEK’s marketing director, Irina Simou, lists her personal favorite hangout spots on Crete and the island’s local products are featured in photographs of the dishes served by the à la carte restaurants on board.
The ANEKORAMA Summer 2014 issue also presents excursions and all the cultural events taking place on the island. A special presentation on the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion is included, along with a special tribute to the “Cretan” El Greco, on the occasion of the 400th anniversary since his passing.
The magazine also gives passengers the opportunity to become better acquainted with ANEK Lines through the company’s latest news and informs on the loyalty program ANEK SMART.
ANEKORAMA is bilingual (Greek-English) and distributed free of charge on all ships and central agencies of ANEK, circulating in the Aegean and the Adriatic.
